MY SPRING FAVORITES

For this weeks post, I thought I would share something a little different than my usual content! So, today I will be sharing with you my compiled favorites from the spring season this year! This will include some beauty, lifestyle, fashion, and media favorites I have had over the past few months. If you like this post, please so let me know, and maybe we can make it a post that I do seasonally.

BEAUTY

This spring, I have been about all things pink and glowy. That is why I have been obsessed with two items in particular that have helped me achieve this look.

1. “It’s a Princess Thing” ColorPop Eye Shadow Palette

I got this palette because I am obsessed with Cinderella, and boy am I glad I did. I have been loving doing a pink eye shadow look with the shades “Fairy God Mother” and “Enchanted Rose”.

2. “Illuminate” Highlighter Palette by Sephora Collection

I have love a beautiful glow to my skin, and this palette helps me acheive just that! This palette is very inexpensive in comparison to a lot of the high end highlighters and it acheives that same look as some of the top tier highlights on the market! If you want to spend even less I would recommend trying out the “Face Studio Master Chrome Metallic Highlighter” in Rose by Maybeline. This highlight is amazing for the price.

3. “4-Piece Dual-Ended Eyeshadow & Eyeliner Kit” by Pur Cosmetics

I love all of these dual-ended sticks, but in particular I love the “Cream of the Crop” shade to place in the inner corner of my eye. This makes my eyes pop and it also helps me to look more awake on days where I did not get enough sleep.

4. Jade Facial Roller by Herbivore

This may fall partly into beauty, but I have been loving this Jade Roller ever since I got it for my birthday. I love to use it to promote circulation in my face and to help wake up my skin in the morning. It is great to use morning and night to plump up the skin and stop wrinkles from forming.

LIFESTYLE

1. Yoga With Adrienne

As many of you know, I have been a huge fan of Adriene Mishler and her yoga channel for quite sometime. She has an abundance of classes that can serve people of all ages and skill levels. Her channel has high intensity, low intensity and everything in between. I love to use her monthly calendar as a guide to build my practices around for the month.

2. “Super Detox” Cleansing Roller Ball by Saje Wellness

Just like yoga, many of you know that I love essential oils. Over the past few months I have been using this detox blend as a part of my routine to help me feel grounded throughout the day. I keep this oil by my desk and use it daily to signal my brain for a fresh start. I use this throughout my work day if I am having a hard time concentrating, or if I need to wipe the slate clean and focus on something new.

3. Chamomile Lavender Tea by Traditional Medicinal

This tea is everything! I drink this pretty much every night as a way to signal my brain for bed. I love anything Lavender, so this is pretty much heavenly.

FASHION

1. Oxford Shoe from SoftMoc

I have been loving these shoes over the past few months. They are the perfect combination of dressy yet comfortable. I have warn them almost every day to work and school because they seem to go with almost every outfit. I highly recommend if you are in the market for a more dressy shoe, but don’t want to compromise on comfort.

2. Pink “Girlfriend Blazer” by Dynamite

I was in the market for a pink blazer and this one is totally PERFECT. It is the right crop and a great comfy material. It is structured enough, but yet still very comfortable because it is made out of a polyester blend. I would totally recommend this for anyone who wants to look put together but doesn’t want to feel restricted in a blazer.

MEDIA

1. “Jane the Virgin” TV Series

I got into this show over Christmas break, and although I didn’t watch much of it during the school year, I started to binge more of it in April and May. I love this light-hearted funny show. It is a show where you can just sit back and not think about your own life for a while.

2. Rachelleea on Youtube

I have been loving watching Rachelle and her channel for general life inspiration. She is juggling school, work, and life and she shares the ups and downs of how she balances it all. I love to watch her vlogs to get a boost of motivation.

3. Amy Landino on Youtube

Amy Landino is another one of my favorite content creators to go to for inspiration and life advice. I love Amy’s Youtube Channel as well as her podcast “Detail Therapy”. She gives away tons of tidbits on time management, being a boss babe, organization and motivation. Check out her videos and you will definitely leave feeling ready to tackle your life.
