5 PRODUCTIVITY APPS THAT EVERYONE NEEDS

You all know that I am obsessed with maximizing my time and making the most of every day, and so today I have decided to share with you all my top 5 productivity and organization apps. These are apps that I use every day to stay on top of my game and to get sh*t done! 

 

1. Quality Time

This app is something I use everyday to make sure that I am sticking to my routine and staying focused throughout the day. Essentially what it does is it tracks the amount of time you spend on your phone and on each app. But, it also allows you to make scheduled breaks throughout your day where only certain apps can be accessed. Therefore, for example, every week night I have a scheduled break at 9:30pm that stops me from using any social media apps until 6am the next morning. This is perfect to keep me off my phone at night, but I also use it during the day when I need to focus on work too. This app is available only for Android, but I know something similar is probably available for Apple users as well. 

 

2. Keep

This app is critical for me because I love to take notes and make lists for EVERYTHING. This helps me to organize my thoughts so that I can easily find everything I need to reference in a snap. I have lists for many things including, my favorite TV shows, a list of things I want, my favorite memories from the year, as well as weekly and running to-do lists. I usually have a to-do list for things that are urgent and things that I can get done whenever. This helps me to stay organized and prioritize. There are many list taking apps, but this one is my favorite because I can sync it to my google calendar! 

 

3. Loop 

I love this app to keep track of my habits and to make sure that I am sticking to my routines and goals. I used to use a bullet journal to keep track of things like this, but I found that I wasn’t super consistent because I didn’t always have my journal. Therefore, it is great to have this app to track my habits. I am able to look at weekly trends and monthly trends to see how well I am doing. This is a must for anyone trying to kick bad habits, or simply track their days. 

 

4. MyBeeHyve

This app is perfect to keep me organized and connected to people around me. This allows me to keep track of conversations and to make sure that I am engaging with friends and brands on a consistent basis. It allows you to keep track of any notes, peoples contact information, and also schedules follow up dates so that you are staying in contact throughout the year. I would highly recommend this app for anyone, even if it is used as a way to remind you to schedule your dentist appointments and meet up with your besties.  

 

5. Spotify 

This may seem like an obvious one, but music is a great way to help increase your productivity. I love to listen to slow jazz or piano while doing work, but for you it may be classic rock or pop. Regardless, I love to use spotify for all my music needs, as well as for podcasts. Some of my favorite podcasts lately have been Detail Therapy, The Marie Forleo Podcast, Other People’s Lives, The Influencer Podcast, and Hustle Her. Check these out for some great listens! I love to listen to podcasts when I am doing busy work that doesn’t involve a ton of concentration.
